About Me
About Me
I am a MPhil student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) in the Data Science and Analytics Thrust within the Information Hub. My research focuses on cutting-edge applications of artificial intelligence and data analytics.
Research Interests
- Multi-Modal Data Analytics powered by Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Data Lake Technologies and advanced data management systems
- Applied Machine Learning in real-world scenarios
- Cross-modal Information Retrieval and processing
Academic Background
Before joining HKUST(GZ), I earned my Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Tianjin University, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and scientific methodology that now informs my data science research.
Current Work
Under the supervision of Prof. Nan Tang, I am exploring innovative approaches to data analytics that leverage the power of large language models to process and understand multi-modal data lakes. This research sits at the intersection of natural language processing, computer vision, and database systems.
Vision
I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in data science and am always ready to explore new frontiers in artificial intelligence and machine learning. My goal is to develop practical solutions that can make a meaningful impact in how we process and understand complex, multi-modal data.
